Five ingredients is all it takes to make these INCREDIBLE cheesy ropes. Taking inspo from my epic yodo pizza recipe, this dough doesn't even require time to proof or rise, making it quick and easy.
Important, this bread is best straight out the oven and warm. It's so damn tasty it's usually all gone within minutes at my house!
If you do have leftovers, or want to eat it the next day, make sure you reheat in the microwave.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Baking time: 20 - 25 minutes
2 cups GF self-raising flour (plus extra for rolling) 1 cup Greek yoghurt 1/2 cup cheddar cheese 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 1 heaped teaspoon paprika
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Mix the flour, yoghurt and cheddar cheese in a bowl until it forms a ball of dough. Knead for a few minutes then separate into six balls.
Roll each out into a long thin sausage, then place three of the sausages side by side and plait. Repeat the process with the remaining three dough sausages. Press the ends of each plait together to ensure the rope doesn't split when baking.
With care, transfer each of the plaits onto a lined baking tray. Sprinkle with the parmesan and paprika then place in the oven.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until all the parmesan has melted and the dough has puffed up nicely.
